REFRESHMENT IN ANIMAL CARE AND BREEDING FACILITIES WITH A FOGGING SYSTEM
High-pressure fogging systems are used very commonly also in livestock facilities in our country in order to prevent the negative effects caused by extreme temperatures on animals. It is the most efficient and economic method that is preferred to cool and also humidify the animal shelters, barns and hen coops. Fogging system consumes little water, and creates a cool, humid and sterile environment that is required for healthy life conditions of animals.
In this system, cooling achieved by vaporization of the water. The water sprayed at equal amounts from fogging nozzles to the required areas in facilities combines with the heat in the air, absorbs the available air by means of vaporization, and cooling - refreshment and the required humidity ratio is provided in the environment. Furthermore, since the system doesn’t allow dripping, there will not be any wet fodder or beds.
During today’s summer months, seasonal temperatures rise too much due to global warming, and this effects animals, and accordingly animal care and breeding centers in a negative way. Extreme hot weather causes some part of shelter, barn and coop animals to be perished, and most to lose their milk - egg efficiency along with loss of weight and liquid due to stress and lack of sufficient healthy feeding. Loss of weight in animals, and the decrease they cause in the product efficiency would be a disadvantage to the facilities. In order to solve such problems, high-pressure fogging systems are preferred in animal care and breeding centers.
Thanks to this preferred system, the ideal temperature and humidity for animals are maintained. Thus, problems of water loss, stress and health experienced by animals due to hot weather are prevented. Animals living in a humid, cool and sterile environment will be fed healthier, and their efficiency will be higher.
